By using pdfhater.com ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What the Service does
PDF Hater provides free, browser-based tools to merge, split, rotate, unlock, protect, and compress PDF files, and to convert between PDF and JPG/PNG images. Files are processed on our servers and automatically deleted 15 minutes after processing — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
- Only upload files you own or have the legal right to process.
- Don't use the Service to process files containing illegal content, malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the Service's rate limits or security measures (including automated scraping or bulk processing designed to bypass fair-use limits).
- Our "Unlock PDF" tool only removes password protection when you supply the correct existing password. Don't use it, or attempt to use it, to access files you don't have authorization to access.
No account, no warranty
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — under heavy load, some tools may be temporarily unavailable or rate-limited.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Hater and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or files. You are responsible for keeping your own backup copies of any file before and after processing it here.
Advertising
The Service is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are served by third parties and are not endorsements by PDF Hater of any advertised product or service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
