Convert WebP to JPG

WebP is the format most websites now save images in — it’s smaller and loads faster, but plenty of older software, some email clients, and certain print/design tools still expect a plain JPG. This tool redraws your WebP image onto a canvas and exports it as a JPG.
Everything runs directly in your browser using the canvas element built into every modern browser — no plugins, no upload, nothing sent to a server. Your image never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions
Is my image uploaded to convert it?
No. The conversion uses your browser’s own canvas rendering — the image is drawn and re-exported entirely on your device, with zero network requests involved.
Does this lose image quality?
JPG uses lossy compression, so there is some quality loss compared to the original WebP, same as converting to JPG from any format. We export at high quality (92%), which is visually indistinguishable from the source for almost all photos.
What if my WebP has transparency?
JPG doesn’t support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with white in the output. If you need to keep transparency, this isn’t the right tool — JPG simply can’t represent it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no account, and no email required for any tool on this site — just pick your file and convert.
